Welcome

Welcome to the biohacking community site! The goal of this project is to create a knowledge hub for everyone who is interested in biohacking to participate and collaborate together. Everyone has their own areas of expertise, but it's about time we had a central repository to share that knowledge and use as a general reference. Right now the site is in its infancy, but hopefully together we can help it to grow into something great!

The structure and design of the site may change a bit as things settle, but what's important is for people to start contributing to the actual content. So log in, choose a topic, and start the information flowing.

What's important is the content—if you get the information down then don't worry too much about fitting it into the overall site structure. Someone else can take care of that.

Consult the User's Guide for information on using the wiki software.

For a basic organizational structure I have decided to break biohacking down into three main categories:

Consumables - Food, supplements, and everything in between. If it goes in your mouth, talk about it here.

Practices - Habits, therapies, and experiences such as meditation, cold exposure, saunas, etc. that we do to optimize our performance in some way.

Medical Conditions - Many of us got started with biohacking due to a particular medical condition that we wanted to figure out how to treat at the root rather than take a (possibly ineffectual) medication. This is the part of the site that I would love to get as fully fleshed out as possible—why make someone else go through what you had to before finding a solution?
