biohacking wiki:About
My name is Avisha NessAiver and I have been a biohacker since long before I ever heard of the term. But only in the past couple of years did I really start to realize that there is a whole amazing community of others like me.
I began to think: I spend a tremendous amount of time listening to podcasts, reading books, blogs, and scientific journals, all in an attempt to pick out actionable ways to increase my own performance. I have built up a large collection of notes that I periodically reference (especially when trying to explain my actions to others). But for every topic that I manage to do thorough research on, there are another ten that I just don't have the time for.
Tracking down all of the trustworthy information is work. Piecing out the relevant bits is still more. Figuring out what I should be researching in the first place might be the hardest part of all.
But why should we all have to go through this same process? Why isn't there a central repository where we can all contribute our vast stored up knowledge in an organized manner?
This thought came to me right as I arrived in LA for the 2016 Bulletproof Biohacking Conference, probably the largest single gathering of biohackers in the world. So I decided to do something about it.
Right now this site is still in its infancy. The design is basic, the structure raw, and the content nonexistent. Rather than wait and try to perfect it my hope is that together we can mold this raw framework into a great resource for the entire community.
